A newly announced /24 prefix did not appear in the ASN Live tab, even though it was announced and propagated correctly.

  • The announcement and propagation occurred as expected and were detected by our platform, generating events visible in other areas such as Events, Announcements, and AS Path.

  • Minutes later, the prefix and its routes appeared in the Announcements tab.

  • However, the prefix did not appear in ASN Live.

    We’ve since addressed this with our latest release of ASN Live. The update introduces a real-time terminal feed and the ability to add and pin prefixes (even those not yet announced), ensuring they are tracked the moment updates arrive. This means you can now prepare monitoring for a prefix in advance and watch its upstream distribution in real time as soon as it propagates.
